DBT Basics – 3 CEU’s – $60
Friday, January 25th, 10:00am-1:15pm
Attendees will learn what Dialectical Behavior Therapy is, and the instructor assumes attendees have little to no prior knowledge of the theoretical approach. They will learn about theories behind DBT®, key points about its developments and developers, its therapeutic components, what separates it from other types of therapy, what expected outcomes might be, and what client populations it might be appropriate for.
DBT and Individual Therapy – 3 CEU’s – $60
Friday, February 1st, 10:00am-1:15pm
Attendees will learn the structure of “adherent” DBT individual therapy and how to utilize the components with different client behaviors and populations. Concepts such as diary cards, phone coaching, behavior chain analysis, and case conceptualization will be covered and discussed. Clinicians who currently have clients in our DBT program are invited to attend this CEU training at no cost if they are attending any of the other CEU trainings.
DBT Skills Class – Part 1 – 6 CEU’s -$120 (Lunch will be provided)
Friday, February 8th, 9:00am-4:30pm
Attendees will learn how to structure and assess members for a DBT® Skills Class and how to teach the skills in the first two out of four modules – Mindfulness and Distress Tolerance. This class DOES assume prior knowledge of DBT®, and some training in DBT® should take place as a prerequisite to this one. It is also meant to be taken in tandem with our “Part 2” class. Homework will be assigned between the two as a relevant training practice.

Friday, February 22nd, 9:00am-4:30pm
Attendees will learn how to conduct homework review during the DBT® Skills Class and how to teach skills in the last two out of four modules – Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness. This class DOES assume prior knowledge of DBT®, and some training in DBT® should take place as a prerequisite to this one. It is also meant to be taken in tandem with our “Part 1” class, which is a prerequisite. Homework will be assigned between the two as a relevant training practice.
