I have training and experience in teaching Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, most often used to break patterns of behavior. DBT skills work to embrace the balance between acceptance and change, and help increase awareness of one’s thoughts, feelings, and urges. I enjoy utilizing DBT with individuals seeking to develop their skills in relationships, regulating intense emotions, and coping with stress.
I am also passionate about helping others identify and increase their self-worth. My goal is to empower my clients and help them recognize and cultivate their motivation for change.
