Therapy can be a beneficial avenue to work together to unveil your best self. As a therapist, my work begins with acceptance of who and where you are currently, while supporting and working with you to create a positive path toward change, growth, and improved well-being.

With a strong emphasis on the relationship between mind and body, each client is treated on an individual basis to create specific goals to foster manageable change. Mind-body practices are designed to enhance the mind’s positive impact on the body. While working together, we will address the whole person, allowing for balance and happiness in all avenues of life: relationships, work, school, and so forth. Mind-body work is especially helpful with children/adolescents by meeting them where they are naturally; allowing for play and movement in session that helps ground them and illuminate the connection between thoughts, feelings and behavior.

I work with individuals ages 6+ on an individual basis, using cognitive behavioral therapy to treat those who have survived trauma/PTSD, grief, depression, anger management issues, anxiety, low self-esteem, assertiveness issues, feeling overwhelmed or stressed, as well as a variety of other emotional difficulties.

I have a strong history working with children, adolescents, and families. We will work to build healthy bonds and a supportive foundation within the family for the child/adolescent to flourish and grow. Incorporating parents into family therapy allows for skill development that can be applied outside of the therapy session, to better foster development and progress.

I’m eager to hear from you! Give me a call to see how we can begin our work together.
